Remove a Folder

When you "delete" a Folder, you are simply removing the Folder from Distributed Marketing, so that it is no longer available for selection when creating Mailings. The Folder itself can only be deleted from within Cheetah Digital (see Browse System for more information on that process).

To remove a Folder from Distributed Marketing:

  1. From the User Details drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the screen, select Admin. The Administration window is displayed.

  2. From the tool bar at the top of the Administration window, click Settings. The Settings screen is displayed, with the Folder tab selected by default. The screen displays all Folders that were previously added to Distributed Marketing. The screen shows the Folder code, name, internal reference ID, and Client Node.

  3. Optionally, search for the desired Folder (see Search for a Folder for more information on the available search options).

  4. Click the desired Folder. The Edit Folder pop-up window is displayed.

  5. Click Delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click OK.
